Summer puppy

My little rascal maggie is having a joyful time at the cottage. we always have lots of fun swimming and going for long boat rides. maggies favorite is going for night walks that don't really last long because of my screaming children!

I would like to learn how to have fun with my computer and art...To have them be synergistic. I came across this and after work tonight I think I'm going to have some learnin' fun!!

Yellow Iris and Poppy Love

Yellow Iris in my garden! These babies are ready to explode!!! I can't wait, they are quite the showstopper!

And then there are these gorgeous salmon coloured poppies. They only had three pods last year and so far they have blessed me with five. I've been waiting all week for them to open. Thank you warm weather!!!

Fusible Webbing!

I made my own curtains! It was my first time, I think I'm in love! Now I have many more projects swimming around in my head. I had a very wide window to cover and didn't want to spend a ton of money so I purchased one curtain panel and cut it. The fabric started to fray and I thought that the ends needed some tidying up anyhow. Then I remembered hearing about my new best friend, fusible webbing!

So I introduce to you my new sun room curtains...

For the love of crafts!

I have been away from the craft blog world for too long! I need the knowledge that I have a place to store all of the interesting things I stumble across over the net in one place. I miss my old blog...anyhoo, I can take what I learned there and apply it now and hopefully make this one even better!
